Making Things for 2morro is an amazing chance to explore the possibilities of the latest and greatest online technologies and learn how to make things such as Facebook apps, mobile phone applications and online tools that can help your project or idea move forward. The Making Things for 2morro space will be running throughout the day, and up to 100 of you will get the chance to work with top UK developers from Google, Facebook, Apple, The Guardian and others to brainstorm ideas and produce working prototypes online. Everyone is welcome to come along and watch the mentors inspire, see the things that get created at 2morro, or stop by and get involved throughout the day. However to get the chance to learn directly from the most amazing mentors around and have the best I.T. lesson you’ll ever experience, along with the opportunity to win a government recognised Catalyst award and prizes from Apple, you need to sign up and let us know why you deserve to be one of the 100. You can sign up as a group or on your own, with a project you’ve already started or just a love of technology, with no knowledge of what a code is or being fully fluent in Python, all that you need is the passion to do something with technology to help those around you. A full Making Things for 2morro website will be up in the next couple of days, but send an e-mail to
makingthings@2morro.org with the subject
"I want to make things" telling us about your skills, what you're interested in and what you want to learn how to do. We may not have all the answers, and no you can't have a jetpack, but many other things are possible.
